I hope you'll all forgive me for using this list to ask a couple of dumb
questions.
Suppose that I want to transmit an unmodulated carrier. Assuming that the
antenna has a fixed impedance at the carrier frequency, so that the current
is proportional to the voltage, am I correct in thinking that the voltage
of the signal at the feed point of the antenna should be sin(ω*t)*, and
that the transmitted power is sin^2(ωt)?
Are the magnitudes of the E- and B-fields proportional to the voltage (and
current), or to the power?
