obviously, and as for all other sports club events, the Tuesday training rides
which were thought to start end of March will be cancelled until further
notice. Please follow the rules of the authorities, apply common sense, and do
your training on your own. Or if permitted, in very small groups only. Please
don't use this platform to organize any rides.
Another thing I would like to mention: Please support the local bike shops
during the Corona crisis. In particular, but not exclusively, those which are
run by their owners and with just a few people in the background. It's clearly
so much easier to order spare parts in online shops these days, but ultimately
this will terminate the great bike infrastructure we enjoy in the area. I know
that my local shop, Veloemotion in Riehen, accepts orders by phone or mail.
Others will most likely offer the same service. Ask them, support them, get
your bike serviced, and perhaps even buy vouchers. Let us know if you know of
local shops who are working "online".
