I have some questions regarding my role as secretary. I checked job duties
sheet and am not aware of any duties. I would need your help. Who is our
current secretary? so that I can check with them about my role. Please
find my questions below:
*Duties of a Secretary:*
Attend District-sponsored officer training every 6 months - *Where do I
need to attend this training and when?*
Maintain an accurate membership roster - *What is this about?* * Do I need
to maintain member joining info?*
Record and read meeting minutes -- *Does this apply every meeting from
beginning to end?*
Keep the Club Constitution and Bylaws -- *I need help with this too*.
Greet all guests and members -- This I can do it.
Attend and participate in Executive Committee meetings -- *Where and when?*

We will have an election next meeting. All officer positions are open for
additional candidates -- step up if you have interest. I have attached a
document that gives you an idea of the responsibilities of the various
positions. Without our officers the club simply would not exist. In
truth, none of the officer positions are a tremendous amount of time nor
effort.
