Brissa and fellow Toastmasters,
I'm a maybe. I asked for a smaller role next week in the event I cannot attend
or am late. I have to make arrangements to get a dog I'm watching back to their
owner on Tuesday, and I also have to prepare and take dinner to all the Chief's
and Chief Selectees (James' military family) at Buckley Air Force Base. Dinner
at Buckley is served at 5PM, so I'll be dropping off the food prior to that
time, if traffic is not too terrible I will make it to the meeting. I'll still
send a word of the day in advance, that way you will have it available in case
I'm late or absent.

Subject: CVTM - Food and Family-Toastmaster Theme
Good Morning Everyone!
Do you remember as a youngster walking into your house to the smell of your
mother's cooking? Or maybe around the holiday's you knew one of your uncles
would prepare his....oh so good chili? Food has a significance to family and
some foods are embedded in our traditions. Those succulent smells trigger our
memories and swift us away to a happy place. So, Food & Family is the theme of
our next meeting.
Although I do not have food for you, I'd kindly like to ask that you indulge
yourself in those memories this week before our next meeting on Tuesday August
29th, 2017 @ 6:30. Ben, perhaps you can be inspired by this weeks theme for
your Table Topics. Annamarie, as our well established Grammarian feel free to
be inspired by Food & Family.
