Hi Folks,
Im writing to invite you and all your club members -- to attend the 31st
Annual Saratoga County (NY) Hamfest on Sunday, September 11 at the County
Fairgrounds in Ballston Spa, NY. We typically have about 400 enthusiastic
hams from east, north and central New York, as well as western
Massachusetts and Vermont. This year, were doubling our efforts to build
on that level despite the fact that we now have competition on that date.
The Boxboro MA Hamfest has moved to that same weekend for the first time.
Saturday is their big day, and our fest is on Sunday so were offering a
hams dream weekend: Two Hamfests in the Same Weekend! For guests who
bring us a ticket stub (or equivalent) from Boxboro, well cut our
admission price in half. Thats only $3!
This year were holding more hourly raffles, a foxhunt on the grounds,
plus hourly presentations on whats hot in ham radio, including Arduino
and Raspberry Pi projects (and beyond), remote operation of your ham
station, intro to ARES and RACES, the Olympics of Antenna Launcher
devices, and more.
For the first time were offering Bucket Prizes, featuring several pieces
of high-end ham gear. Buy special bucket prize tickets and drop them into
the bucket thats associated with the prize youd really like to take
home. You may win that gear at a huge discount. All that, plus a VE
session and delicious food served all day, should make for an exciting
hamfest.

of our very attractive Bucket Prizes. Be sure to read both sides of the
flyer.
Please consider coming to this well-established hamfest. The fairground is
very large with plenty of room for tail-gating, as well as several large
pavilions for convenient undercover spaces.
