At least two club members have the crimpers for PowerPoles, so any club member
who needs assistance in installing them can bring wire and connectors to a
meeting or to Field Day. Just let us know that we need to bring the crimping
tool.

Power Poles have been standardized among hams for many
years now- anything else is 20th and perhaps even 19th century.... right up
there with Fahnestock Clips. If you still aren’t using them best to stay home
on Field Day.

I
have a bunch of stuff on PPs but other stuff not standard.
A bunch of
radios use spade lugs to attach to any power supply with a
1/4" stud.

DC connections are
standardized on PowerPoles. Is this what everyone
else uses for power
connections?
A club I
belonged to back in
zero-land recommended that all members use these as
standard so that all
members equipment would be compatible in the
field.
What are
others
using?
