Guys, you really need to turn on the HF radios more often.
I haven't been on in a few weeks, so I powered up the TS-590 and SB-220 and
called CQ on 40 phone. I was promptly DELUGED with an enormous pileup, and
many of them said they were looking for Vermont but seldom heard it.
In forty minutes I worked 30 stations, with a little brief rag-chewing in
there. There was still a significant pileup when I finally shut down. No
contest, nothing special, just CQ.
Turn on that radio and call CQ from Vermont; you may get a pileup going...
