I've re-done the installer to grab all of the correct perl modules - using the one available here :
http://www.magicvillage.de/~Fritz_Borgstedt/assp/S065335E5?WasRead=1and I've restarted assp. Initially it seems that everything is working. I'm the only person using ssl for sending mail, although everyone is using it on IMAP which is the qmail end - which works. For now I've sent 6 or so messages and they've all gone through. I'll keep going and see how it turns out.
With the qmail log files, I'll have to hunt a bit further. The software install was all done for me and I've got no idea how they've setup the log files.
