Anthony,
The ssl on smtp in assp will provide much better logging info AND it
does respond to TLS/SSL start commands on port 25 also that supports
MS Exchange which sslXproxy does not.
Open the config file for sslXproxy and comment out the proxy line for ssmtp.
I should have an update for that ready after I finish clamav
