I did use the installer - the ASSP directory is there in /var/log/
but is empty
logging looks like it is turned on in the GUI
maybe I should try to install again?
Are you seeing connections in assp?
when I go to infostats I see evidence of msgs being processed
are you seeing connections in eims?
yes - all from assp
What does syslog say?
when I look at the console I can see entries from sender com.oitc.assp
it seems to think everyone has a forged HELO
none of these enties show up in the ASSP log
Is assp respawning trying to bind to ports?
I don't know how to tell
SInc e you installed on the same machine did you 1) change the SMTP
and submit ports on EIMS, 2) restart eims?
