Description: The Ministry of Natural Resources seeks an individual to
provide technical fish and wildlife resource management expertise in
developing, reviewing, implementing and monitoring the fish and wildlife
inventory process to monitor ecosystem sustainability, and liaise with
staff/partners/resource users.
Qualifications: knowledge of resource management practices, legislation,
policies re fish and wildlife, harvest regulation, inventories, habitat
enhancement and work permits; investigative and enforcement experience in
fisheries/wildlife/environment law; oral/written communication,
interpersonal, project management, facilitation, organizational skills;
ability to prepare long-range operational plans, budgets and manage same,
write detailed reports, review technical submissions, licence/permit
applications and make recommendations; knowledge of computers, Occupational
Health and Safety Act; valid driver's licence.
