*Language requirements*: At least functional proficiency in English and French. Be able to converse freely with Foundation clients and volunteers.
*Reports to*: Executive Director (ED) *_1. Key Responsibilities_ Application Process Management:*• Assess scientific merits of applications for funding prior to sending to advisory committees
• Assist advisory committees in assessing applications • Provide advice to potential applicants • Assist ED in overseeing and managing the application process *Project Coordination:*• Work with recipients to complete funding agreement identify project objectives, performance measures and timing
• Audit funded projects for performance and for financial record keeping *Database Management:* • Review project performance reporting • Develop and manage Foundation database • Extract project information for entry into database • Design and generate reports from the database *Partnership Development:* • Work with ED to meet community groups to promote the Foundation • Work with potential applicants to encourage partnership formation _*2. Qualifications*:_ • Science or Administration degree from a recognized university • Experience in field projects related to fisheries management • Familiarity with the Foundation program • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written;• Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Content Management Systems
