We provide a subsidy to cover one third of the salary of any junior or
entry level position your company creates in 2005.
We also maintain a database of recent graduates looking for work in the
Environment.

The Canadian Council for Human Resources in the Environment Industry
(CCHREI) is now accepting applications from companies performing
environmental and international work.
To apply, your organization must:
- be a private sector company
- offer a full time position for 6 to 12 months
- provide some international exposure to your new employee,
which may include working with samples from abroad, participating in
conferences outside of Canada, acting as a liaison person with
international companies or traveling to a foreign country.
Eligible employee must:
- be under the age of 30 and Canadian citizen or landed immigrant;
- be a graduate of a post secondary institution (i.e. College,
University, Technical school);
- be underemployed or unemployed at the time of hiring;
- have not previously participated in a Federal Youth
Employment Strategy (YES) (previous participants of summer employment
programs are still eligible).
Since funding is allocated on a first come, first serve basis, it is
important to apply prior to April 1, 2005.

Pour participer, votre entreprise doit:
- être une entreprise privée canadienne ou une filiale canadienne d'une
société étrangère;

international, notamment la manipulation d'échantillons de provenance
étrangère, la participation à une conférence à l'extérieur du Canada, le
maintien des relations avec des entreprises outre-mer ou la visite d'un

- être âgé de moins de 30 ans, citoyen canadien ou immigrant reçu;
- être gradué d'une institution postsecondaire (cégep, université, école
technique);
- être sans emploi ou sous-employé au moment de l'embauche;
- participer pour la première fois au programme fédéral Stratégie Emploi
Jeunesse (SEJ) (les participants d'un programme d'emploi d'été sont
admissibles).
Comme les fonds sont alloués sur le principe de premier arrivé, premier
servi, il est important de faire sa demande avant le 1er avril, 2005.
