Hi, Roman,

I understand that you have technical problem which block the progress, but I
had my own technical problems in my coding part too, I try my best to solve
them, or find a alternative way. It's ones responsibility to sovle the
problem and finish its own part on time, at least finish it in reasonable
time, or tell others it cannot be done in short time. The problem is that
you didn't finish your part, which slow down the project progress, since
it's very first stage, the program cannot run without the combined fault
file (for keeping the project progress, I manually combined the file). If
it's impossible to finish it on time, you should contact me, and tell me
it's not a good idea to continue working on this part since time limited.
Continue working on the very first stage for 3 weeks should not be
acceptable for the normal project progress. I do respect your works,
however, if it still cannot work before Sunday, I strongly recommand you to
do the Project Description Part II, otherwise it's hard for you to show your
contribution.

Your part task should be cleared in the first and second meeting already,
create a program, which can automatically generate 2 sets of patches, the
first set patches is to make the correct program become a combined faults
program, the second set is to correct the combined faults program to be
correct one. The second set of the patches should be able to apply in random
order. The program should also detect the mutual exclusive faults, and
produce the final number of faults contained in the combined faults file.
After coding, test the finished patches can work in such way.

From my experience in manually combine the faults, you have an alternative
way without using patch/diff program, just check my combined faults file
attached in previous mails to see what is the current way doing the
combination.(by using #define and #ifdef).

One more thing, everyone is busy now, no exception, but we made the decision
to enroll this course, so we should at least finish the job in the course on
time, it's our responsibility to do that. However, I feel ok to do the
project by my own, I'm not worry about myself for the marking, I understand
the system most clearly, and George can see that I am the major contributor
to the project from weekly progress. What I was worried is your performance,
just as a friend, rather than a small group leader. So, try your best to
contribute is my suggestion, but no more than a suggestion.

Regards,

Tao Wang
