Operational -- please let me know if you're coming, so we know how many
CSEW signs to make. Also, when you expect to arrive.
On Wed May 1, the CSEW will be participating in the Internationalist
contingent at the union-sponsored event at Columbus Circle (59th St and 8th
Ave), which is scheduled for 5;30 pm -- 7;30 pm. We're asking comrades of
the CSEW to be on site by 5 pm as we expect there may be an attempt to
exclude the contingent by the pro-Democratic Party organizers. Look for
the Internationalist banners there.
The march is going to Trump Towers on 5th Ave.
We are having an after-party, get-together, at Blarney Stone, on 31st
Street and 8th Avenue. We have the second floor to ourselves, pay your own
drinks and food (great burgers). Please encourage everyone, friends,
workmates, etc, to attend, as we told the bar we expect 35-40 people.
Last year it was a great party, hope it will be Wednesday.
