Dear CSEW comrades:

Please read the attached draft letter from the CSEW to UAW Local 2865 at the
University of California.

Please indicate whether you agree with sending it, and/or if you have any
changes you would consider important.

Please respond today if at all possible, as we would like to send the letter
tomorrow.

The letter is about their call for the AFL-CIO to break ties with the
International Union of Police Associations. Clearly, this is an important
initiative, despite some weaknesses in their statement (some of which are
addressed in the draft letter, others of which are best left to discussion
with them or further correspondence).
