Now, in response to the brazen Brooklyn shooting and the presence of I.C.E.
inside Maimonides Hospital, SEIU Hospital Workers Local 1199 has called a
demo for today, Friday, February 7 at 4 p.m. to demand I.C.E. out of the
hospitals and to stand with immigrants. That is a prime example of workers
action against deportations.
We will have our leaflet available by noon for the students to take up to
Hunter to flyer for the rally, and I'll post it here.
Comrades will try to be on site by 3:30.
