Moon of Alabama was a song by Bertolt Brecht.

for the lyrics...lots of famous people sang it. Bertolt Brecht was of
course one of those "lefties" a playwright who was opposed to war. I
remember being involved in a play of his produced at the Questors
Theatre in Ealing when I worked there as a volunteer carpenter producing
stage plays.
for bio see url: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bertolt_Brecht
On this occasion the play staged was called "The Threepenny Opera" a
play about the women and children who followed their husbands and loved
ones to war. It was a play about alienation, which is very much a
Marxist term...which I have never quite understood, but he was a major
influence at the theatre at the time I worked there, and many actors
followed his theories on the production of plays.
Please forgive me for my little reminiscences which are well outside the
remits of Cryptome...:-) but as Oscar Wilde once said, "The best way to
rid oneself of temptation...is to indulge it...:-)

Look in particular to the claim that the two Russian civilians had made
their bookings a long time earlier, compared with the manifest from
Aeroflot. Of course, all of this could be fake news, as Bellingcat.com
could be a false flag operation and is a close associate of the Atlantic
Council.
Eliot Higgins, also known as Brown Moses, who is the owner of
Bellingcat.com and calls himself a citizen journalist and expert in
exposing anomalies and lies by the left and by those security services,
intelligence organisations and nation states which are opposed to many
aspects of the foreign policy of the UK, the West and the United States,
has the following critique made of him at this url:

I wouldn't have a clue who is right or left of course, there is just so
much fake news around these days, that finding out any sort of truth if
fraught with difficulty, and I am getting to the stage that I find
gardening on my plot is much more productive and harvest-able...:-)
