Trump promised his base and AIPAC that, if he was elected he would move
the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Today he is going to do this
very thing. Is it a good idea...what benefits will arise from it for
the people of the area? Will it help the people of Israel? Will it
help the people of Palestine? Will it help the nation states which
surround Israel? Will it help to evolve US foreign policy in the Middle
East and produce a more constructive outlook towards the Middle East
nation states? In what way? Will it make the Israeli State stronger?
Israel already receives over $5 billion a year in economic aid and at
least £5 billion a year in military aid from the USA. Remember,
Jerusalem was annexed to Israel from Jordan as part of the proceeds of
the 1967 war...Did Jordan steal Jerusalem in the first place...one
wonders...
