And so it appears...inadvertently, that the secret indictment against
Julian Assange of Wikileaks, by the US government has now appeared. It
just goes to show how it is so difficult, even for a state, such as the
Great American one, to keep a secret. It also goes to show, what little
chance the rest of us have in doing such a thing.
If only Julian had given himself up to the Swedish authorities and faced
the trial for the sex offences he was alleged to have committed, he
would have my full support. Now, he is stuck in the Ecuadorian Embassy,
isolated from the internet and friends, and has been, for many years,
and chastised for not cleaning up his pet cat and cleaning out the W.C.
after use.
Whilst he has served his sentence for the alleged sex offences by his
prolonged incarceration in the Embassy, I think he would be wise to give
himself up and ask to be delivered to the US judicial system and stand
trial for anything that they care to throw at him. After all, he has
many "secrets" to reveal, and the chances of him being convicted are
going to be very costly to the US judicial system. Let us make America
Great Again, by providing a democratic trial, free of secrecy, out in
the open. It would be the trial of the century. There are plenty of
people and organisations who will support him...me for one...
