Dear All (apologies for cross-posting as I have sent this to the CQ STEM
partners general list as well)

Hi, please find attached the schedule for Monday and Tuesday next week. I have
attached the Inspiring Australia logo, bus times, signed RAs and stations for
sessions.

Cost of buses is covered and materials have been purchased. I have some PSTs
(pre-service teachers) in first year who have volunteered to run sessions as
well.

Please find below some information you may use for your permission note and
newsletter:

On Monday 14th August and Tuesday 15th August the newly formed CQ STEM partners
group funded by Inspiring Australia will be running a series of rotational
activities as part of Science Week 2017. These activities will provide over 700
students from 10 schools with hands-on STEM experiences including codeybots,
water testing, coding, balloon rockets, challenges and more. The CQ STEM
partners group includes local teachers, Gladstone Healthy Harbour Partnership
(GHHP), Gladstone Regional Council (GRC), Gladstone Libraries and CQUniversity.
Inspiring Australia has provided funding for this Science Week event, which is
covering the cost of buses and materials for the event.

I will be arriving at Tannum Sands State High from 8am Monday and at Gladstone
South State School on Tuesday from 8.30am. Please turn up when you can. For
stations with TBC we can double-up on marshmallow challenge and balloon rockets
as long as they are not next to each other in the rotations. I will bring first
aid kits and a loud whistle!

look forward to building stronger relationships into the future.
