Dear Melissa (and the network)

Hi, we will be running a science week event but it will have limited capacity.
EcoFest is coming up (on Sunday 3rd June at Botanic Gardens) and we are
launching a Gladstone-specific app.

I would suggest contacting Sarah Jacob at Gladstone Central School to see if
you can be involved in the First Lego League competition (November). There is
also opportunity for Tech Girls Movement (online registration).

There are numerous resources for STEM – the Queensland STEM Education Network
website http://www.queenslandstem.edu.au/ has a heap of free resources. This ;
network was developed by 8 universities and is excellent.

I was just wondering if there were any STEM experiences that we could offer our
Year 3 /4 classes here at Star of the Sea? I have some bursary money that is
on offer and would like to direct some teaching and learning in this area.
