During Rage Art armor. You take less damage. So if their health is high enough

The lower your health is during rage art...the more damage it will do. Usually
it would do 30% but with low hp, can go up to 50% at times. Especially Lucky
Chloe's (but you need to do the just frame name spelling). I think her's can go
up to 55-60% if you get all the just frame right and with pixel width health
rage art.

Yes. Animation doesn't mean much for Rage Art other than registering if you're
going to armor through a move or not.
You can even do this. If your opponent does Rage Art a split second faster than
a move you JUST pressed...You can technically still hold back and block and
"cancel out" your previous button.
Eg.
SAP going to do jab 1,2
LB pressed Rage Art a bit too soon.
SAP sees Rage Art animation.
SAP blocks.
LB salty.
However, if he press Rage Art a few frames later and the system registers your
jab 1,2...only then you can't cancel out your jab 1,2
rage art start up animation doesn't DO or mean anything other than armor. At
the end of the day...the move still have regular start up frames.
I personally prefer Rage Drive. I'm glad they added rage drive...because
vanilla t7...all you had was rage art and it promotes defensive play only at
low health. but with rage drive, you can be aggressive or use it as a wiff
punisher (since most rage drive comes out pretty fast)
