better. If anything, our matches have helped me to identify the punishable
stuff you were using and the gimmicks you rely on (which is beneficial to a
point: I don't know all the matchups), but once all of those things are
figured out, it's really just your playstyle vs mine, and mine comes out on
top 90% of the time whereas yours is always the same and never changes.
Hence, it is far easier to deal with after I've identified all the other
crap. But you're better than all that; it's just a conscious decision on
your part to hold back or to do really stupid things during matches. That
might work during the first two matches, but after that I'm on to it and
your response to me adapting is to switch to other characters or teams. I
dunno... maybe that's more fun for you. For me, it just gets to a point
where I'm no longer learning anything during our matches other than "LB's
gonna spam this move now, LB's gonna jump here, LB's gonna hop here, LB's
gonna retaliate with x if I do y (always), LB's gonna roll here".
I actually want to be really good at KOF which is why I enjoy playing
against you; but it's only worthwhile if I'm actually learning something in
the process or progressing. If all I get from you is the same stuff over
and over again, I won't progress – I'll stagnate instead. I think Nic hit
the nail on the head when he said that you need to stop being a 1 trick
pony. You have excellent conditioning skills, so why not build on that?
