I don't think it's 100% kuk but I definitely agree that it dragged. It's
also not really treading any new ground even though most reviewers make it
seem as though it is. There's also a lot of talk of how some of the content
might go over people's heads but it's not that intellectually taxing imo.
It's just really, really slow. There's enough to dig into if you really
want to but I feel like it's mostly not worth the effort.

It most certainly is.
I recently watched Annihilation and, to be honest, I didn't really enjoy
it. I think the pacing of the movie had a lot to do with it.
However, I wasn't aware that it was based on a novel by Jeff VanderMeer. I
like to read excerpts from books that I haven't read yet and the way this
guy writes is nothing short of phenomenal. I need to get my hands on this
book. Has anyone here read it?
