The bottom line is that the expected performance is not reflected in real world
measurements. In terms of mining, two 1060 GTX cards will be more efficient in
terms of speed and power consumption (and half the price!) of a single 1080TI.
It simply doesn't scale as well from 1070->1080 to 970->1060->1070.
