August 15 2014 Rugby World Cup 2015 tickets go on general sale next month From September 12 to 29, 2014 up to 1 million tickets will go on general sale for the 48 Rugby World Cup 2015 matches taking place across England and in Cardiff. All of your members, fans, players and staff will be able to apply for tickets through the general sales application window in September. This also includes those who have already purchased tickets through the Rugby Community Ticket Sale, who will be able to use the same login details and ticketing details created in May. Tickets for all 48 matches, at each price category, will go on sale in September and you will be able to apply for up to 4 tickets for each match. In addition, 15 matches will also allow you to get the team back together and apply for up 15 tickets. It is important to note that this is an application window and therefore you can apply for tickets at any point between September 12 and 29. This is not a first come, first served sale so there is no advantage to applying on the first day, but we also recommend not leaving it until the last minute. Where matches are oversubscribed we will run a ballot by match and by price category. All members of the public who have applied for tickets will be advised in October 2014 on the status of their application.
