Hi Nona and all,
What a timely question! If you have been by the playground this week, you
saw that the old stuff is gone and the ground is getting set up for the new
equipment arriving on Tuesday. We should have a brand new playground by
this time next week. It's very exciting!
To answer your question — the small group of us on the "CPIV Playground
Committee" have been working over the last three years with the board to
build the playground. We had the playground picked out and ready to order
and build in winter 2019. It was challenging and at times frustrating
working with the oft-changing requirements of the board, which is why it
took so long to finalize everything. The good news is that we will have a
wonderful new playground very soon.
Let's celebrate the opening as a community! How about we organize a CPIV
Playground Opening Playdate in a few weekends? Would anyone like to
volunteer to host it—decide on the date and time, and then send out an
invitation?

Hi - Does anyone have an update on this? I thought last time we checked
in it was supposed to be done in the May/June time frame? Does anyone know
what is causing the delay?
Just curious,
