I was inquiring about having tender models made this morning, when Hal at
Central Hobbies in Vancouver showed me the Miniatures by Eric tender.
It isn't well described in the packaging, the label merely saying: "$43.45,
Athearn 2-8-2 HOSK2", but the part looks like a fairly nice large sized CPR
tender. It comes with a bras piece for the rear ladder casting, cast on
stanchions for the deck rail, and cast side frames for the trucks (to be
provided by the modeler).
When I searched the M by E web page, but couldn't find a photo or details.
So tonight I've sent them an e-mail - hope to get an online photo and some
prototype info soon.
