I recently came across some old papers for CPR Western Lines that I'm
trying to decypher a bit. One is a list of cars including a car number
CP27665. The document is dated july 27, 1914. Are any of you able to
provide identification information for this car?
The other paper has a list of Western Lines cranes. Its undated, but
according to my own records, must date before January 1, 1938. If any
of you have information showing the CPR roster of cranes and wrecking
cranes for an earlier date, perhaps you could help me determine the
date. My list includes the following car numbers which were off the
roster by 1938:
CP 414051, 414053, 414090, 414131, 414132, 414134, and 414150. If
anyone has scrapped or sold dates for any of these cranes, I'd
appreciate a word.
Eventually, I intend to make both documents the subject of a piece for
the CP Tracks magazine.
