As noted, employee TTs will give locations where water and coal could be
taken. I have noted that CP have locations where water was available but
not shown on the ETTs leading me to conclude that the water sites shown are
main line located towers. The missing ones in most instances appear to be
on sidings or other tracks.
As for detailed determination of what was where (i.e. water tower or water
column) you need to refer to the engineering diagram sheets which show all
buildings tracks etc.
