Subject: proto rs10/18 on canadian model trains website
the samples shown in the script and block paint show the mix match of
short ends of the units and the colour of the numbers on one of the
units is yellow in stead of the maroon colour used with script do
hope that this is not common to the stuff being shipped.
http://www.modeltrains.com/ go to canadian proto roads click cp then
go down list to click rs 10/18s
And as William Miller has pointed out the bell is on the wrong end on
the '18's.
With all of the corrections made to these models let's hope these are
NOT the final version but previous prototypes to which all those
corrections have been made.
Mind you, I doubt if anyone would cancel their order even if these
mistakes were not corrected. Those numbers can easily be changed as
can the bell though it'll need painting too being maroon rather than
gray. The only time I've canceled a proto order was the SW9-1200 in
block with the wide gray band were they mixed up the block and script
schemes. This was finally corrected in the last run of these.
