The CP wasn't the only road that had 2-10-4s that were not "Texas"
types..... the CB&Q
called theirs "Colorados". The B&LE and later DM&IR had copies of the Q
engines and I
think they called them Texas types but I'm not sure...
Good point you raised. I don’t believe names for engine wheel arrangement was
ever an industry standard. The railways call them what they wanted.
