Craig,
The CP GP38AC units had the "old" style 48" fans with the flat disc in the
middle. IIRC they are 8 blade fans. The horn used was the regular type used
by CP diesels but with all 3 chimes facing forward. Some units LATER ON had
the more typical CP horn with 2 chimes forward and 1 reversed. The horn is
mounted on top of a small bracket which looks like a capital "A" with the top
portion missing. This is located on the roof just ahead of the #1 (radiator)
cooling fan. Miniatures By Eric makes these horns in brass in HO scale.
