Jim is still alive and well and living in Toronto I believe. He was at the Barrie,Ontario train show yesterday at one of the tables selling hobby supplies. He operated North York Hobbies and Park Models (I believe his dad started the business) who imported some brass models and had HO cars custom painted in Canadian Railways back when to have a Canadian car required painting and decaling your own. He was instrumental in bringing out a CP enclosed water tank in plastic which has been available from other producers since. Jim recorded a lot of railroad equipment and railroading during the at least from the fifties. He has been extremely open to sharing his photos and he was previously sending out weekly scans of his photos. The photos seen on Fallen Flags may be from part of that process.

Others may have more info.

Please excuse me if this is a redundant or seemingly ignorant question
but as previously posted, I and many others are enjoying the
photographic work of a Mr. Jim Parker on Fallen Flags. I would
appreciate a bio of the gentleman who's work is inspiring me to model
far more equipment than I ever knew existed.....

....and thank you Mr. Parker for your efforts.
