There were a lot of 3-2 Obs cars built in the late 1920's. There has been
considerable discussion on other lists about the differences between them. I
defer to Doug's wide knowledge about the details.

according to Doug Phillips, these "3/2" cars were like the Walthers one but
were in the two tone

Rob, did you mean a 3 drawing room, 6 compartment sleeper?
CPR didn't have cars of these types, and at this time didn't provide
sleepers on this route. Pullman supplied extras for this line each summer,
out of the pool.

Myreview of CPR MP-14s and the Official Register of Passenger Train
Eequipement for CPR turns up no candidates for two cars added to the summer
consist for the Soo-Dominion - the 8 Section, 5 double bed room sleeper and
the 3 drawing room, 3 compartment sleeper - both running between St. Paul
and Vancouver. Am I correct in concluding these were Pullman cars.
Further, is it clear they would be "pool" cars?
