Isn't it interesting that you ask a question about a gentleman who's
photographs you enjoy and the answers bring back such a vivid
memory....?
Living in Northern Etobicoke in the late 60's and early 70's as a young
railway modeler; we would avail ourselves of the TTC and later our
bikes to visit North York Hobbies; I can remember numerous trips there
and parting with paper route money to buy a Tyco car; later moving up
to better cars and finally my first steam enegine (during my HO teen
days)
Knowing that that was Mr. Parker's shop and that 30 plus years later I
am still a railway modeler and enjoying the fruits of his labours
brings a cycle of railfanning and modeling full circle.....
I am grateful for the information.
