Well seeing as how there are some well-publicized photos of a
southbound CPR milk extra coming off the Lyndonville Sub at Wells
River and the train has both a B&M diesel (ALCo RS-3) and a B&M
crummy your question certainly has CPR content.
I own several of these kits, both the original and modernized
versions they did. To date I've built one of each and like these
kits a lot as they offer a lower-cost alternative to the brass
versions of these cars that have appeared over the years. To the
best of my knowledge they were done for T&T by a local person who is
now deceased. I got this information from the woman who is the co-
owner of T&T perhaps a year or two ago (I called looking for some
additional parts). So they were not done by a big-time resin-kit
producer such as F&C under private label as is often the case. These
are traditional flat-sided kits with meager instructions so access
to Tim Gilbert's B&M buggy book is a must in my opinion to produce a
first-rate model. With some research and work, including freelance
modifications to the kit, these make up into very nice models in my
opinion.
