Date sighted - Sat Oct 29th 2005. ( mid day )
Yesterday I was on the skytrain Millenium Line and
was going from New West to Burnaby. As some of you
might know the Skytrain guideway goes along BNSF track
until it gets west of Braid station.
Between Sapperton and Braid stations I was saw a steam
engine and tender parked on BNSF track. The tender had
been detached from the engine and was standing just
ahead on another track. I couldn't see enough of it
to tell what kind of engine it was, (wheel config).
However, the running board was still painted in what
looked like CPR colors. The tender was not in CP
colors but something else, I can't remember what right
now.
Anybody know what it is and what its doing there?
