I didn't receive any replies before so I am renewing this topic again.
Hopefully it doesn't get lost now in the K1a mass responses. ;) lol

I was looking through some of my information collected on the Goderich
Subdivision and came upon the names of some of the CPR agents in Milverton,
ON. According to the local newspaper reports, in 1931 the agent was Mr. G.H.
Bunston, then in 1940 his wife became agent. In 1954 their daughter Anita
(Bunston)/Mrs. Charles Gale took over the agent's responsibilities.
I was wondering if this was common ie. to have a wife and/or daughter take
over as agent. I realize that they probably knew most of the procedures and
would definitely know the local people.
In West Monkton, the station agent from 1935 - 1956 was Mr. William J. Worth
Sr. and upon his retirement his son Roy took over until the station closed.
This would be more common I would think.
