I read that too and didn't know if it was serious, which when not
apparent to the reader means neither is the remark salvageable by
just adding an "LOL".
Humour and email are not always a good fit-sometimes remarks just
come across as snide whether intended or not. As a Canuck I felt a
tad offended for our US friends.
