Omer Lavalee's book "Canadian Pacific Steam Locomotives" has assignment lists
for the years 1904, 1916, 1932, and 1952.
The later lists are the most complete. Chalk River is one of the terminals
listed. There are 163 terminals in total.
I had a quick look at 1952 and the only engine I could see assigned to Chalk
River is the 3440 but I may have missed others.
There were some corrections to Omer's book.
