Hi Robert,
I have a list of asgn'd Clover cars used on the Soo-Dominion and
Winnipeger somewhere in my collection. And while looking for that list
I came accross a list of sleeping cars handled on the Soo-Mountianeer
starting on June 22nd, 1936. From Chicago to Vancouver. There are eight
cars in total, these same eight cars show up once every eight train
consists. Only one other car "Clover" class car showed up in the entire
1936 summer season and that was "Clover State".

Clover Summit
Clover Woods
Clover Knoll
Clover Pond
Clover Gate
Clover Path
Clover Garden
When I find the assigned list I have, I'll compare the list to this
but it's a good chance these may be the cars.
PS: On the Passenger Car List, message 42447 had a list of the Soo-
Mountianeer dated Aug 11th, 1949. On this train where was no "Clover"
class cars, but on the rear end of the consist was "Golden Rock" an
open platform 3-2 Lounge Observation car. I believe in 1949 and 1950
the Mountianeer had these types of cars pulling up the rear. And that
they where painted in two-tone gray.
