Hi ,I am looking for information on the number series/model/mfg on the steam
and diesel engines that ran from Montreal to Ottawa through the Lachute sub
division from the years 1948 to 1961. Any other information on the Lachute sub
would also be appreciated. I am planning a model train set up with the town of
Lachute. I know and recall freight being dropped off in Lachute and also
picking up paper at J C Wilson plant. Also there was passenger traffic as i
recall going to Montreal on steam,diesel and a Budd car. I do have some
information on the Budd car. Any info on the box car type and passenger car
type would also be appreciated
