Dear Jeff, et.al.
The most recent issue of CP Tracks showed up this afternoon in the
third state south of Lake of the Woods.
Most interesting was the "Return of the Empress" but Gar Ness's notes
on the Yarmouth and Annapolis No. 6
"Digby" was really great. My Grandmother's family was from Digby and
we still have connections there.
For those interested in nautical things, the same Post brought the Fall
Issue of Power Ships (The Magazine of
the Steamship Historical Society of America) The lead article is on the
The Last Empress by Bill Miller, Canadian
Pacific's last Trans-atlantic liner launched in 1960. You should be
able to get a copy from SSHSA by writing them
at www.sshsa.org.
Oh, I almost forgot....Happy Trafalger Day.....
