I was wandering through PWRS' site on the Hawker-Siddeley cylindrical hoppers,
and the earliest date they have for one of these is 1976. So that has me
wondering about the Intermountain cylindrical hoppers in my collection painted
in black with CP script lettering. This would have to have been painted way
before 1976 to be legit. Somewhere in the recesses of my memory, I thought I
had seen a photo of an example of this, but my mind may be playing tricks on me.
Does anyone know if the CP script was prototypical for a cylindrical hopper, or
is this a case of Intermountain imagineering?
Thanks for the info,
