The two stations shown on that plan are Nosbonsing and Bonfield. I
assume Nosbonsing must be where you are. Which railway mile posts are
you near?
There likely was never an actual Callander station on CP. It was
designated the eastern terminus of the CPR, but the syndicate also
acquired the Canada Central Railway which had powers to build up the
Ottawa Valley to Callander. Since it was all one railway, there was
no need to actually reach Callander and the CPR line bypassed it with
a more direct route 4 or 5 miles to the north. Later the Grand Trunk
and then the Canadian Northern Railways did come by the present town
of Callander.
Post some pictures of the outside of your house and the group can
offer their opinions as to whether it appears to have railway
heritage. The railway used a limited number of standard plans for the
minor points. The most likely possibility to consider would be a
section foreman's dwelling, but even if it was, subsequent owners
might have modified it beyond recognition. If it was a CPR building,
the structure would probably have been been moved off CPR property
when it went into private hands.
A plan ca 1920 shows a small sawmill at Nosbonsing on the shore line
so it is possible that your house could be related to that instead.
