CPR #4908 is preserved at the West Coast Railway Heritage Park inshort
Squamish. It was donated by BC Rail for use as a tool/support car for
Royal Hudson #2860. It served for many years as a support car on the
BC Museum Train and thereafter was used as a parts storage car for
2860. During service on BC Rail it was painted in the tuscan red
scheme with black ends and roof. There was a short ladder mounted on
the side next to the 6 foot door and the car was wired with a version
of HEP for service on the Museum Train.
If I can push the right buttons, I'll try and post a photo and a
history as far as is known.
