Chuck, the book to which you referred only lists units
on the CP roster in 1945/47. The 2901 left the roster
in 1944. For a complete steam roster you need Lavallée's
"Canadian Pacific Steam Locomotives".

According to "Canadian Pacific Railway Diagrams and Data" there was only 1, 
number 2900.
Class I1a, built July 1914, 200 lb. boiler pressure, 23.5" x 32" cylinders, 
70" driving wheels,  43000 lbs tractive effort, P2-a 8000 gal. tender.
