Hi Jeff,

   According to the CC&F drawings I have the wheel base for wooden
express ice reffers in series 5500-5799 are 7' wheel base. But some
of the sketch drawing I made but in the 1970's also show 7' wheel
base trucks used on steel 8 hatch express ice reffers in series 5800-
5904.

   I'm not saying that the sig's iformation is incorrect. It just
shows how things can be one way or another.

And this is not the correct size. Because the wheel base for

these CP

reffers should measure 7'.

I checked the SIG Library and our scan backlog for anything on the

reefers.

It appears that through baggage cars had 7' w.b. and the wood

express cars

had 6'8" w.b. We don't have anything on the steel express reefer.
